I also wanted to show off my signed copy of Nacho Libre! Now I will be able to play with these hollow wrestling guys as we watch Nacho Libre every year. Though I am kind of afraid to let Ava play with these made in China toys. After all the card reads,"Under 36 months due to small parts not suitable for children."

Nacho Average Knockoff
So I've been hunting for treasure during my hour lunch break at my newish job. It's a different part of town and I haven't really found any great antique shops or cool thrift stores. They're all kinda ghetto honestly. Now despite this I did find a hidden gem if you will. I give you, in this corner, Naaaaaachoooooo!
These Wrestling King figures come complete with "Twisting Head & Waist" and "Moving Arms & Legs". Wow!

Cool score congrats on the find!
ReplyDeleteThanks John. :)
DeleteThe figures are awesome, but when you pair them with Jack Black it just adds a little something. Libre Thrifts 101
ReplyDeleteThe resemblance was definitely the tipping point in my decision to spend a few cents on these guys. The ideal would be a fig that resembles the one at the end of the film, but I like this bootleg version of Nacho Libre.
DeleteIts interesting how often these strange knockoff wrestlers show up in thrift stores still in the pack.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've seen some weird things still on the card. Nothing too amazing, but still fun.
