The Maxx #1 and #2, What If...Wolverine Was An Agent of Shield #7, Obnoxio The Clown X-Men, Scud #14, Marvel Tales Starring Spider Man #201, The Uncanny X-Men #230, TMNT Adventures #8, and even Marvel's What The...?! #18!
A few weeks prior Brian helped me identify a fuzzy childhood memory of a comic book I once read. Turns out I'm not crazy and this comic does exist and is known simply as "The Maxx". Little did I know a cartoon was produced and aired on MTV. I found that and binge watched it over the course of a couple nights. It's so great to have a copy of The Maxx #1 and #2! The TV show stayed very true to the comics. I'm still getting to reading all of these comics (read the TMNT comic right after The Maxx) and once I have I can tell my friends and family that I have read 9 books over summer "break".
Thanks again Brian! You are truly a kind and giving individual and Inreally enjoy your blog! I know I don't always leave a comment, but I read ALL your posts and Infind them highly entertaining and enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work!
Thats some great stuff! Maxx and Scud are both favorites of mine! Check these out Maxx and Scud .
ReplyDeleteWho knew a hobo and a disposable assassin robot could be so cool? Thanks for the links! I've gotta get me some Isz!
DeleteTrashy is awesome! Seriously Brian is one of nice guys out there....much like yourself Mason. : )
ReplyDeleteHe's awesome! He gives of his treasures freely and often. Thanks for the kinds words John, I try my best to be a stand-up guy. Thank you for being such a loyal follower here at DI Treasures, you rock!
DeleteMaxx and Aeon Flux were probably the best shows MTV was putting out in the early 90's. Nice haul and kudos to Brian for being a radical recycler.
ReplyDeleteAeon flux happens to be another one of those vague childhood memories. I was pretty young and I was staying at some dumpy motel with my family for some family vacation. I was one of the few times I could watch cable as a kid. The scene where that fly is on her eye has stuck in my brain for years! Brian is awesome, I'm always amazed by all the stuff he willingly gives!
DeleteAwesome! Yes. Loved the Maxx TV show. Totally agree with Brian L. about Aeon Flux as well. If you've never seen that one correct that at once!
ReplyDeleteAll I remember are bits and pieces from that fuzzy childhood memory. I think it's time for an Aeon Flux marathon. Thanks for stopping by Derek!
