I saw these for the first time in a Christmas gift box full of other nasty candies while we were shopping at Sam's Club. Does someone seriously love candy corn so much that they want it for not only Halloween, but for Christmas too!? What do we call this crap, jolly corn? It freaking hurts my eyes! I wouldn't wish this candy on my worst enemies! Don't buy it! LET IT DIE! Rant over.
Long live candy corn - although I was able to get it cheap after Halloween so I am flush with the stuff. No need to purchase jolly corn.
ReplyDeleteI can be pretty hard on candy corn. I do like mellowcreme pumpkins, which are pretty similar to candy corn, if not identical.
DeleteI only eat the Brachs who also make the mellocremes. I do not car for other brands at all.
DeleteYeah, Brachs is the best brand. I don't like off-brand mellocremes. Also, random thought, candy corn (the traditional kind) makes great campfire flames for a gingerbread scene! :)

DeleteThose colors are so painful to look at. Maybe those are warning colors to let predators know that they’re poisonous. At least they look like they probably taste. I live with a bunch of candy corn lovers and every year I try a candy corn because they look like they should taste good. Really I should be smarter than that, but every year…
