#drawlloween becomes #miniween2018

I have fallen prey to the ease and laziness of Instagram this year.  #miniween2018 follows the prompts of #drawlloween each year, put together by @minifiguremilitia.  The idea is to take a picture for the 31 days of Halloween, based on the prompts.  So far I have taken 18 pictures for #miniween2018.  Feel free to join in on the fun if you are on Instagram.

I hope to return to the ol' blog soon to post about some recent Halloween thrift finds, so stay tuned, IF YOU DARE! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  Follow all my Halloweeny junk on Instagram #halloweenathon2018.

Creepmas 2017 Day 10: Z-Bots Toytivity

I have created a "toytivity" the past few years.  Some better than others.  This year's toytivity features an all Z-Bots/Voids cast.

Shepherds: Combatz, Simptox, Radial, & Centoid

3 Wisemen: Blastor, Jawbreaker, & Tiddo

Mary & Joseph: Linkbots Orj (KFC version) & Tor
Manger animals: Linkbot E-ra, & Turbocon

Baby Jesus in craddle: Skoutt in the Ballistic Bomber

Angel: Skydragon

Rite Aid: looking SPOOKY Skeleton Toy Figures

Did someone say "Sepia tones"?

Some of the skeletons are very wonky and warped, making them difficult to stand-up, unless they are leaning up against something.  They are made of a hard plastic, and some of the figures have some plastic flecks.  Overall, at $2 for 16 figures, not bad in a pinch.

Spirit Halloween: Zombiepocalypse Action Set AKA "Green Zombie Family"

They were marked at $4.99, but they were actually rang up to at $2.

Here they are in the rotting flesh!

Psychopath Guy.  With severed head a human flesh mask.

The Kids. Is she scared, or just hungry?

Hello Zombie Nurse. With arm in tow.

The Biter. Contrary to popular belief, zombies will eat more than brains.

The Freaks.  No armed man and zombie Hulk Hogan with a flesh tear?

Tripod.  Mangy mutt, zombie dogs seem to retain their speed in death.

AND, Barrel Full O' Zombie!

Overall a fantastic set of zombies!  And for less than 25 cents a piece, you really can't go wrong here!  Stay tuned for more new zombie minifigure reviews.

Nano MetalFigs: Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort

I was pleasantly surprised to see these Nano MetalFigs for just 97 cents a piece at Wally World!  Of course there were also Disney figs for 4 times that.

Now cute little Lord Voldemort terrorizes Tombstone Corners.  I love that the fig is 100% die cast metal.  They remind me of little pewter D&D figurines.  The paint job is decent too.  I will definitely be picking up more of these little guys.

Has anyone else started collecting these?  Which ones are your favorites?

Creepmas Day 7: My New Trashy Collection

I have been playing at the idea of collecting Trash Pack Trashies and I finally gave into temptation a purchased a few Moose Toy products.

The colorful magnets fit right in with My GPK magnet collection on the fridge.

Gross Ghosts, one of the latest series. I have flip-flopped in the past on my position on leaving toys carded versus opening them and playing with them as God intended. I've been having cold feet about opening toys lately. The Trash Pack toys may been one that should be opened because of the Mystery Pack nature of the toys. What do you think?

My small Trashie collection is not allowed to leave the stinky corner of the Christmas Village.

These Eraseez are great! You can really see all the gross little details.

One thing that can make Trashie collecting so addictive, and one feature that I really like, is the official collectors site where you can make a list of all the Trashie you now own! You can also search the data base and create a Wish List , making it easier to trade with your friends.

Does anyone else out there collect Trashies? What do you think of them?
