Funko Horror Themed Cereal

While I was watching the Netflix documentary, Making Fun: The Story of Funko, I discovered that Funko is releasing several horror themed cereals in Summer 2018! (Not yet released at the time this post was written)

Funko is working on the following themed cereals, to include a mini-Pop figures in each box, for just $7.99!

Freddy Funko
Elvira, Mistress of The Dark
Freddy Krueger
Cuphead
Beetlejuice
Batman
Pennywise
Captain Caveman
Friday The 13th
Gremlins
Cthulu
Harley Quin
Skeletor
Mumm-Ra
and MORE!

Becker said "When you add milk to the Freddy Kruger cereal, it looks blood red.  With the Beetlejuice cereal, when you add milk it looks like slime."

Did you buy some Funko cereal, or do you plan to?  What do you think?  Did you open the box, or leave it sealed?

Trix Rabbit Found Dead on box of Frankenberry Cereal

Maybe I'm over analysing this, but I think Frankenberry and his spooky pals seriously murdered the Trix Rabbit and turned him into a rug! That's the only explanation I have for the following image.

Holy crap, the Monsters seriously killed the Trix Rabbit!

The comic on the back of Frankenberry's box was innocent enough, complete with plenty of lame puns, cheesy banter, and cheap jump scares. I could have easily missed the rabbit pelt and passed it off as a simple background choice, but the more I thought about the more things started stacking up. Who puts a rabbit pelt in front of a fire in a huge haunted mansion? One would logically expect a bear pelt. And the rabbit carcus is so obvious, it almost looks like they didn't even bother to skin the rabbit, his body is seemingly just dumped on the ground! At first I thought it odd for Frankenberry to kill a fellow General Mills character, but you never know who's capable of cold blooded murder.  The dead Trix Rabbit has to be an Easter egg planted by the comic artist to mess with my mind.

Just look at those soulless eyes!

What do you think? Is this just coincidence, or a dark conspiracy? Could Frankenberry cereal really contain traces of the Trix Rabbit's remains? You decide!

Orange you glad it's finally October?

I sure am! It's time to pig out on spooky themed orange junk food.

Back again for 2014 it's TruMoo Orange Scream and Halloween Oreo cookies! Nothing says Halloween like orange milk and cookies!

The milk helps bring out the cookie designs. I'm an extreme dunker. I eat Oreos like they're cereal in a cup, spoon and all.

I like the new designs on the Halloween Oreos and the Orange Scream milk is yummy as always. I give it 2 severed thumbs up! Definitely a must buy for your next Halloween party. Has anyone else come across the orange milk? Do you like it or do you stick with the chocolate milk? Have you discovered an awesome Halloween junk food? Share in the comments below!

Being a product of the 80s it's only natural that I love Saturday morning cartoons and cold cereal. Sometimes look up old toons to watch on YouTube on Saturday mornings so I can fully enjoy my favorites. I give you Mason's Top 10 Favorite Cereals!

10. Wheaties

Ah yeah, Wheaties! Not only is it good for you, but MJ eats it! Better eat your Wheaties, it's the breakfast of champions.

9. Rice Krispies Treats Cereal

8. Frosted Mini Wheats

Not the most popular choice and a lame commecial, but I still enjoy a bowl full to this day.

7. Peanut Butter Crunch

I love peanut butter and I love Peanut Butter Crunch, even though it kinda scraps me gums up sometimes. It's a two-edged sword.

I remember this commercial like it was on last Saturday morning. Classic.

6. Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Now we're talkin', Cinnamon Toast Crunch ya'll! So good! I don't know what happened to the other Bakers, but the cereal is still going strong.

"Less sugar than I thought!" Ha ha ha, yeah right lady!

5. Lucky Charms

Technically a holiday themed cereal that can be enjoyed all year round! Heavily parodied commercial.

4. Rice Chex

Great cereal because Muddy Buddies and Peanuts commercials! Corn Chex are alright, but Wheat Chex are just plain nasty.

3. Crispix

One of those acquired tastes. Something about it just tickles my taste buds.

2. Kix

Another one of those kids-love-it-but-it's-okay-with-moms-cuz-it's-low-in-sugar cereals. I don't know why I like this one so much, it justs takes good and gives me warm fuzzies inside.

And Mason's number 1 most favorite cereal in the whole wide world is...

LIFE!

SO FREAKING GOOD! He likes it, hey Mason!

Raisin Life Cereal!? Gross!

What are your favorite cereals?

Rice Krispies Treats Cereal is back!!!

YESSSSS! An old classic and personal favorite cereal has returned! When I happened upon this box, I couldn't believe it, instabuy!

As if that wasn't enough excitement for the day I came across this...

Chocolate Lucky Charms!? And now with three rainbows!? SWEET! But that review I'll save for another day.

Rice Krispies Treats Cereal is as good as I remember it! It's a little different than a straight up Rice Krispies Treat. The cereal is not soft n' chewy at all, it's nice and crispy. Also, the Treats version still has that satisfying snap crackle pop!

And for all you dry cereal eaters, not to worry, it comes in some pretty good sized chunks. Perfect for snacking on dry.

Overall, my score for Rice Krispies Treats Cereal is a 10/10! You really can't go wrong here! Well, unless you're worried about sugar content I guess.

Does anyone actually read this side of the box? I would always zone out and read the backside of the box.

Speaking of which, it ain't half bad reading material! They've even included character profiles for Snap, Crackle, and Pop. You just don't see that kind of dedicated character development for cereal mascots anymore!

Who's your favorite Rice Krispies...err, what are they, elves or something? Anyways, which one's your favorite? Have you tried this cereal yet, or have you tried it in the past?

The Blue Meanies are coming! The Blue Meanies are coming!

This week’s assignment from the League: I’m feeling blue

It’s been a while since we’ve had a photo assignment for the weekly League of Extraordinary Blogger’s challenge. We’ve done green, and we’ve done red, so how about this time we do:
Blue.
Whoa, now I know I'm way late on this one and I went a little crazy, but heck, it sure was fun thinkin' of all the blue stuff I like!

When I thought of the color blue I immediately thought of the Blue Meanies from The Yellow Submarine movie. My Dad sent me a picture of one of his Yellow Submarine toys. It's George with a Blue Meanie!

What blue themed post is complete without any mention of Blue Laser, the Cheat Commandos sworn enemies. I'm really tempted to order some of these before homestarrunner.com disappears forever. I hope the Brothers Chaps are okay. Does anyone know what happened there?

Let's not forget my favorite superhero band The Aquabats! Someone really needs to create some action figures based on The Aquabats Super Show.

My beloved Captain Crunch T-shirt. The Cap'n cost me $10 plus 3 proofs of purchase. Totally worth it!

My favorite blue-haired Battle Troll, The Trollminator!

Something a little more cuddly, the blue Totoro!

Our brand spanking new local DI!

This Muppet Babies lunch box was under glass in the collectibles section of the DI. For just 5 bucks I had to pick it up! I love that show. It even still had a tag where it was priced at $20. My brother asked if I got it for Ava. I actually got it for myself, but I wasn't about to admit that. If Ava wants to use it when she's older she is certainly welcome to it. :)

Found this a while back at the DI for $5. Not only does it include The WoW Wrath of The Lich King Expansion, The original WoW and The Burning Crusade Expansion was also stuffed inside!

Blue Cosplayers at the Salt Lake Comic Con

I have no idea who this guy was supposed to be. He looked to be at least 60 years old. A guy that old still cosplaying? Awesome!

Don't ask why, but I wore my blue SPAM shirt to Comic Con. I went as SPAM Man. I really like SPAM.

The T.A.R.D.I.S.

Lastly, from the Dollar Store, we have...a blue...Thomas The Tank plush?...Good night everybody!

Is it weird that I wanna go bak to the Dollar Store and buy Thomas The Tank?
