Happy Trolloween

I recently acquired a complete set of Trash Can Trolls via trade from my friend @twan2330 on Instagram. He's all about them bootleg toys, check out his Instagram page, it's amazing!

Trash Can Trolls were produced by Topps, the same people that brought us Garbage Pail Kids. They were hoping to rival the success of GPK, but we all know that didn't quite work out and we were left with 43 TCT characters, each with one alternate name, much like GPK cards. It's a great series and I highly recommend it! I hope to one day soon snap pictures of every card, front and back, and post to my Flickr account. I will post a link once I get around to it. For now, here are some of the more Halloween themed TCT cards. Although, to be honest, just about all of them are Halloween worthy.

This guy isn't even real, and I feel so sorry for him!

I love all the ads and coupons that are included on the back side of these cards!

Who's your favorite TCT?  Do Trolls creep you out or do you love their little faces?

    1. Thanks! I really need to capture a picture of each one soon.

  2. Trash Can trolls!??!? How have I never heard of these. They are so bizarre. I feel like they really bought into the staying power of the troll trend.

    1. Yeah, Topps saw how popular their Cabbage Patch Kids parody was that they thought that surely Trolls dolls would be an easy target. Sadly, when they released these they flopped hard, as the Troll craze had just died down.
